I was sittin at the boards one day and I thought to myself, ITS A DARN SHAME that so many DMV artist dont get as much shine due to a subtle arogance that many have here. They get a little fam and all of a sudden you dont hear their voice nor speak anymore.

Meeting with another DMV artist to do work is hard unless you talkin $$$, so I began making beats with DMV artist I wanted to shine. yU from Diamond District is one of those.

I seen him at Le'Fant Plaza Metro one particular day and we chatted a bit. I kept it cool but I said to myself "Ima make a beattape with this dude in mind. This track takes the title of that beattape. ONE FOR yU... Unfortunately though, like most of his comrades, he stop answering messages. So much for D, M, V, huh? DMV is NOT united musically (dont get it twisted!) If you dont have a group or squad...(sorry for ranting..But this is REAL talk) - Logikbomb
